Provided by YP.comTake your business elsewhere!! Don't be fooled that this is the old Cox & Cohea with a new name--Poage's service is deplorable-- worse than that, they are dishonest. I have been a loyal Cox & Cohea customer for several years so wanted to give Poage a try.
I took my vehicle in for diagnostic work a week ago. They performed this work and routine maintenance. They made me aware of some leaks that needed fixed as well as some brake work that was due. I made the appointment for the brake work for today (1 week in advance) and asked that they provide me with an estimate for the leaks. They promised they would call with this estimate.
Several days went by and no call with the estimate came. I then called earlier this week and again requested an estimate. They acted like this was new information but promised to call me with it-- no call came. Today, when I dropped off the vehicle at 0700 (when they open their doors), I again mentioned the estimate and they promised to call with one. This brake job was supposed to take 4 hours. I called at 12:30 to check on the truck and was told that "my tech was gone to lunch." I didn't hear from them all day, so I returned to the dealership at 5:30pm (they close at 6:00) and was SHOCKED to learn that they didn't even get the truck in AT ALL. Not even for the brakes!
I talked with the service manager, who clearly wasn't managing anything today, and he apologized and said he was mad at the tech and would "deal with this in the morning." The only service recovery he offered was a free rental car and 10% discount. That was insulting! I will give another dealership my dollars!
They showed a lack of service, a lack of management, a lack of follow-through, and a lack of honesty. Who exactly was at lunch at 12:30 since the truck wasn't even moved for 11 hours?? Who was minding the shop to make sure the work load was managed properly? Clearly no one was today!
I was speechless. I still can't believe they didn't perform work that was scheduled one week in advance when they had the vehicle for 11 hours. Unacceptable is the only word that comes to mind. They will not be getting my money-- they don't deserve it!
