LONG ISLAND COMICS has been in business since March 15, 1977. Originally known as "The Batcave", the store changed its name to L. I. COMICS in 1982. Owner Frank Verzyl has been collecting comics since 1959, and is listed as an advisor to the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. We carry a huge stock of both vintage and new comic books ( over 150, 000 back issues in stock ), and we will try to help you hunt down whatever hard-to-find back issues you may be looking for. We also carry a complete line of hi-quality comics collector's supplies ( 4 different sizes of comic book bags & boards, and storage boxes in 3 different widths and lengths ). Long Island Comics carries all the brand new releases from Marvel DC, Image, Dark Horse and the alternate press companies. If we don't normally stock a title you want, we'll special order it for you!
