Provided by YP.comSadly, nothing special except the bar. The bar is great with friendly bartenders and a huge selection of beers and beer-infused drinks.
We had the cheese curds and fried pickles for apps. The cheese curds were tiny lumps of breading, grossly overloaded with salt, with a barely visible amount of cheese. They were not properly drained and dripped grease all over our table. They reminded me of the little doo-dads people pick out of a fryer basket after the food is removed. Huge disappointment! The fried pickles were good to very good and the sauces were really delicious.
For my entree, I had the chicken. It was very dark but not at all burned, and smelled very smoky. It was rather tiny for the price, but it was okay. The huge mound of mashed potatoes with fried kale on top was very good. My wife and daughter had the fish. Both said it was very good, crispy and flavorful, but only two medium sized pieces made it very pricey.
Our server was polite but absent. Our drinks went dry for some time and it took a long time to get refills. She also forgot I had requested extra napkins, so with the grease from the cheese curds and the grease from the chicken on my hands, it was a messy experience. Overall, I will try the place once more out of fairness.
