Located in West Branch, Mich., Surline Middle School offers a learners environment by using various comprehensive educational programs. The school offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades five through eight. It has an enrollment of more than 525 students and affiliated with the West Branch Rose City Area Schools. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, physics, chemistry, biology, world history and geography, mathematics, pre-algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, and health and physical education. In addition, it offers fine arts, woodshop crafts, communications, foreign language, music and computer technology. The school s campus houses various facilities, including science room, art and band rooms, woodshop, computer laboratory and library and media center. It also provides various athletics activities that include basketball and track and field. Surline Middle School has a parent-teacher organization and offers counseling service to monitor the overall upbringing of the children.
