Provided by YP.comYOU WILL BE LEFT SICK HERE AND COLD TURKEY KICK I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY TELL YOU ON THE PHONE I WAS JUST RELEASED WEDNESDAY AND COLD TURKEY KICKED HEROIN HERE
If you are coming off of an opiate and are under the impression that you will get suboxone right away and not be sick THINK AGAIN...they will mislead you on the phone and make you think that this will be a comfortable experience but when you get there you will find out that you will be cold turkey kicking with minimal comfort meds (clonidine, visteril, trazadone) when you ask about being dosed with sub they will tell you that precipitated withdrawals will happen until you are FULLY FINISHED DETOXING basically dropping clean urine before being dosed...by the time I was even offered to see a sub doctor I had been through the worst of the withdrawal and told them to keep it...they generally dose you on the 3rd or 4th day of detox!
The staff is nice and the facility just opened so it is really nice with a private bathroom for each room and you can smoke here so that is a plus. Even though I had to kick cold turkey I am grateful for the experience because it was something I needed to go through and I'm also now opiate free and didn't replace it with a suboxone script...the reason the review is still so negative and only two stars is that I was completely mislead about the dosing of suboxone and was in no way told that it would be 2 to 4 days before I could be dosed
If you do choose to seek treatment here make sure you have someone on the outside that can verify that you can afford to fill the suboxone script and see a suboxone doctor once you are released because if they feel you cannot afford it they also will not dose you
If this is your first look into finding a treatment facility please do not let this post discourage you because I have been to several facilities and this is the first one that has blatantly mislead me (and everyone else that was there for opiate addiction) and allowed me to suffer...typically if there are sub doctors at the treatment center you come in sick and you are dosed right away and the suffering is minimal if any.
