Applebrook Inn Pet Resort is a medium size boarding facility located on 8 acres between West Chester, Downingtown, and Coatesville providing care for dog, cats, as well as small mammals, birds, and reptiles. We offer boarding and grooming. We have 6 exercise fields ranging from 1/2 acre, to 5 acres in size. The dogs are broken down into playgroups of 7-20 depending on size, age, and play style. Clean-up baths and full grooming services are offered on the final day of your stay as well as by appointment year-round.

We at Applebrook Inn Pet Resort believe that a tired dog is a happy dog, and pride ourselves on our unique social atmosphere. After their initial temperament test, dogs are placed into playgroups. Each playgroup consists of up to 6 dogs, and are matched by size and play style. Included in our daily rate are 3 potty/play times, where the dogs are out in yards for 20 minutes. A healthy dog is also a happy dog. We feed a well balanced, and easy to digest, lamb and rice diet from Nutrisource Super Premium Pet Food. For detailed information and an ingredients list, please visit www.nutrisourcedogfood.com. If your pet has a sensitive stomach, or you would prefer to bring their diet from home, please be sure to clearly label bags, or bins, with your pets’ name and feeding amount. Lastly, a comfortable dog is a happy dog. We provide each dog with a 4’x5’ fleece blanket to sleep on. We do welcome belongings from home. When choosing what to bring with your pet, please remember that we wash all bedding every day, and toys are often taken out to yards to play. We do our very best to ensure that everything brought with your pet goes home with your pet, but dogs will be dogs, and we make no guarantees that all belongings will be returned in the condition they are left. Please clearly label ALL belongings with your pets’ name, and keep bedding size to a maximum thickness of 1 inch. (so it will fit in our washer if needed)
