Founded in 1948, Armstrong Engineering Associates specializes in the manufacturing of specialty heat transfer equipment for the process industries. It produces custom heat exchangers, tank heaters, electric process heating equipment, pilot plants, finned tubes, gas coolers, scraped surface crystallizers, and regenerate and vertical vaporizers. Armstrong Engineering Associates additionally manufactures horizontal, bayonet, coil, vertical cluster, radiant, sheathed, suction and line heaters. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Chemtec B.V. and Chemtec PTE. Each of its facilities is capable of working in a range of materials, such as carbon, stainless and low-temperature carbon steel, nickel steel alloys, Inconels, Incoloys and Hastelloys. Armstrong Engineering Associates is a member of The Chlorine Institute and Euro Chlor.
