Went in for my yearly Pap smear per usual. The doctor who I really liked asked my about birth control and i said i might be interested in the future but was not currently sexually active. No prescription was written and i payed as a self pay and left. Received a bill for a pregnancy text about 2 weeks later. When i called to ask about this I was told it was protocol because we 'talked" about birth control. Of course i didn't want to pay this because it was a completely unnecessary test done without my knowledge. The first nurse i talked about this to was really dismissive and the second lady I talked to her name was Amy and she said she was the office manager and would try to get it settled or comped for me. The 3rd lady who contacted me known as Helen said it would not be comped and i would have to pay rather I got a prescription or not and was very rude to my concerns about them doing tests without my permission or knowledge. So if you are without insurance and need a a regular OBGYN I would recommend going somewhere else. Did not appreciate my treatment and run around I received from this office and I have have been coming here for years…
