i think some one gave out degrees to the staff here oddly not even one knew very many names of the pills i had paper work for and the bar feel in here is just to much,won't be going back.It took 4 hours to get the thing filled.

I took my husband's cholesterol prescription to Walgreen's on Augusta Road on Wednesday night, July the 8th, and was in for the surprise of my life. I was waited on by a heavy set, nappy, dark haired pharmacist named Veronica who practically ice cut her way through two employees to get to me with a maudlin "Can I help you?" When I handed this woman Veronica, who I had never met before in my life, my prescription, she read my husband's name and her eyes shot back up at me as if she's been hit by lightning, glared at me for a second, then she huffed back to another corner, where a second pharmacist, slender with straitht, blonde hair, was preparing a different prescription. I could not believe my eyes. It was on. Veronica, the pharmacist who waited on me, began a litany and a tirade about dealings she and another woman she knew had had with my husband, regarding money, alcohol, going to this one's place, that bar, this bar, babies, cars, cell phone calls, where they'd meet, etc., not ten feet away from me; the subject's wife . The blonde pharmacist that Veronica was talking to kept glancing over at me and psssssting at Veronica to keep her voice down; that I could hear her. Veronica ignored this other pharmacist, and kept unloading and unloading all this information she knew about my husband to where the other customers waiting on their prescriptions could also hear her. The woman standing by me said, 'I'd hate to be at the receiving end of that!' I smiled, looked at the woman, and said, 'Would you believe that pharmacist is carrying on about my husband? Apparently, she and another woman have had bad dealings with him and I'm having to listen to this crap now?' She lady sitting by me said, 'Oh, my God! in heaven,' and added, 'Well, honey, if I was you, I'd go to another pharmacy and check those pills out before he took any!' and chuckled. I had never seen this Veronica woman before at Walgreen's, but after the second pharmacist had to say out load, 'Keep it down! She can hear you!'' Veronica finally cooled down. She stepped up to the register gingerly and purred 'Ms. S****, your prescription is ready' just as cool as if nothing had happened. The prescription was $10 and I gave her my debit card. Then, very, VERY unprofessionally she started glaring at me again and said, I don't know why you don't pay the $30 and get your next prescriptions at a considerable discount.' I had had about enough, and told her, just as coyly, that this would be something I would need to discuss with my husband.' When I said that, she rolled her eyes, and her glare became more menacingly, and she shot back, 'Well, to me, that is just stupid to throw money away. But if you want to stupid, that's your problem I'm offering you a discount, ma'am? You don't get that?' Again, I replied, 'As I said before, I will discuss this with my husband.' I had to bite my tongue from tellling this unprofessional piece of work what she could do with her discount. I cannot believe for the life of me Walgreen's Corporation would hire such a rude, disrepectful woman. (While she was nice to the other customers, she singled me out apparently because she'd had some sort of down and dirty dealings with my husband.) It's said that someone who has trained so hard fand for so many years to be a pharmacist could suddenly in a snap turn ghetto. I will never return to this Walgreen's again unless I am faced with no other choice, or that I know this awful woman is no longer there.
