The very first time I visited this practice, it was an emergency and our records had just been transferred over. It was a Saturday and my dog had jumped a cyclone fence, injuring her paw. Dr. Ohm NEVER made me feel as if I was an annoyance, took care of the injury and, when I went back later that day to pick the dog up, could not have been nicer. We moved and changed vets but some years later came back. I met Dr. Knee when he was at Latham Emergency where he had to put my beloved Springer down. He could not have been kinder or more sympathetic. When I found out he was at New Baltimore, I called and told them they had just gotten a gem. Since then, he has been my vet of choice. He has shown that same care and compassion for other difficult decisions I've had to make. He's easy to talk to and speaks to you in English instead of "veterinarianese" (lots of medical terms that most people don't understand). He takes time to answer your questions. He listens to the owner - he knows the general dog but the owner knows the particular dog and he takes what the owner says without making you feel stupid. He's the best!
