This Father's Day we went out for a special "Father's Day Gift Box" golf outing to Riverwinds. This was to include 2 rounds of golf, cart, hat, $25 gift card for Pro shop and a Riverwinds golf ball. ($150 value) for $100. They lied. Not only did they charge us the full price for a round $69 each, they overbooked the course by dozens of golfers. I don't think they turned a single one golfer away. We waited 1/2 hour to tee off when we had booked a tee time. Then we waited on every hole we played. On the 4th hole we were waiting behind a 4some on the tee box, they were waiting on a 4some standing on the fairway, they were waiting on a 4some on the green who was waiting and waiting and waiting all day long. Good course but shame on them for overbooking and false advertising. They said read the fine print at the Pro Shop. No where on the did it say cannot use until after 1pm. Had we known we would have golfed elsewhere that day.
