Cashiers are difficult and overly opinionated. Always give working women a hard time. Cashiers seem angry at the world, may be a reflection of their management. Managers are indifferent to complaints. CSRs seem rather set in their views of other races/religions. Karen does not allow people of other religions to shop here.

This location is conveniently close to my house and overall, I love it. A few people say the produce isn't fresh but I've always been happy with my purchases. Typically, it's very crowded on Sundays but other days of the week are fine. The Zallie's prepared food department is great for quick meals and dishes to bring to parties. My favorite is the hoagie dip! YUMMY!!! It's so good with french bread.

Horrible to aged and handicapped

Horrible to aged and handicapped. Stopped to purchase a fruit tray on a recent holdiay. Asked the manager a question. He screamed at me and poked my shoulder with his finger. Other customers said "that is a terrible way to treat a person on Thanksgivinmg" "Don't put you hand on her". After finsihing my shopping, I waited in line and checked out. At the door,I was held by two policemen who the manager (apparently) phoned. After paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a lawyer to represent me in Court, I was told that unless I pled guilty to Loitering, the charges would be changed to criminal trespass based on the statement of the Manager and his Asst. and I would be taken directly to jail. All of this in spite of the fact that Shoprite accepted my purchase of close to $50, that day. I am a 66 year old School Teacher who walks with a cane and portable oxygen. Shame on Shoprite!! Perhaps they should close on holidays rather than have abusive employees who are angry at having to work
