This place is the best place for parents to bring there children. My son was only 8 years old when he started at Plus One Defense and it has been the best decision we ever made for our son. My son is 14 now and it has helped with his confidence, self esteem and just has given him a good character quality about him. I know that I dont' have to worry about him being bullied at school because he knows he can defend himself even if he does not act on it. This is huge because he wont' be intimitated as easily. Actually, that is one of the first things that he learned at Plus One. That just because you know how to fight and defend your self does not mean you have to. That gives kids an incredible sense of control and confidence to handle bullys and taunting. Sensei Darin Reisler and Mike Golden have been just an amazing role models in my son's life. They are great intstuctors and work with the kids in many different capacities with there lessons thru martial arts. I would recommend all parents at least go look at Plus One and they too will get the great family atmosphere that the dojo has. I have said it before and will continue to say it Plus One has been the best decision for our son. Especially in these crazy times in our world.

This academy has more martial arts classes available than any I have ever seen. Excellent instruction. Nice teachers. Easy to start. Beginner friendly. Same price to study as many styles as you want. Convenient.
