Six of us went for dinner last Sunday night, 3 people from West Hartford, one from Boston and two from Virginia. Although the waiter was friendly, the service was incredibly slow. The food is delicious but the portions are incredibly small. The hostess was slow to keep us posted on our seating status and not very friendly. As we sat at dinner, my friend said, "Well, it's clear that they do not want us to return!" It is because no one made a connection with us, from the hostess to the waiter - it seemed like we were invisible. Even the portions were unfriendly and unbelievably expensive! The antipasti for four was good but again, small, we had to ask for more pita bread a couple of times...the vodka penne was good but the price twice what it should have been for the portion. Unfriendly, dark, expensive, small portions but good food. Go if you've got a large wallet but a small appetite.
