Sedgwick Middle School, located in West Hartford, Conn., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades six through eight. More than 1,000 students are enrolled in the school that offers subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, literacy, music, art, and health and physical education. Additionally, it offers foreign language courses in French and Spanish. The school also offers a number of sports activities, including team handball, aerobics, field hockey, track, badminton, flag football, Frisbee, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, dance, softball, gymnastics and soccer. The school is affiliated with the West Hartford School District.
