I was referred to the Cozy Pet in West Islip by a neighbor for grooming services. I had asked the man who answered the phone if the groomer knew how to groom a Pomeranian in the Boo cut. He said they could figure it out. The groomer certainly seemed nice enough and I brought him a photo of Boo the Pomeranian. Five hours later I am greeted with my dog who had been completely shaved. The groomer claimed the dog was matted, but I know that my dog only had very tiny matted fur clumps by his head that I tried to remove myself. The groomer at Cozy Pet may be a sweetheart and a kind person as my neighbor stated, but unfortunately he is like most groomers out there, not a stylist and overuses the clipper.

Michele and Jim, the groomers, are caring, understanding, helpful, and great at what they do ... and Ralph, the owner, also greets us with an Hello. I recommend them to everyone. Not once were we ever dissatisfied with our dogs grooming. Our dogs always get excited to see them all, they are treated like they are family. I wish I could upload a photo of our dogs, they just got groomed yesterday, and look great ... and they even sent them home with a bow and some treats.

Ihave been bringing my Westie to Michele for the past 8 years. She has always done an excellent job. I have also. recommended her to others and they have been satisfied too. My dog actually looks forward to seeing Michele.
