Since opening its first store in Salt Lake City, more than 50 years ago, Artic Circle Restaurants has grown to include more than 25 company stores and more than 55 franchisees in nearly 10 states located in the western United States. Those states include California, Idaho, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Nevada. The restaurant serves fast food as well as fry sauce, kid's meals, lime squeezes and chocolate-dipped ice cream cones, also called Brown Toppers. It also serves real halibut, taco salads and Black Angus beef on all of its burgers. Arctic Circle has also helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for March of Dimes and other charitable organizations. Headquartered in Midvale, Utah, Artic Circle Restaurants is a subsidiary of the ACA Corporation that employs nearly 500 people at its corporate location.
