Joel P. Jensen Middle School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs for more than 1,000 students in grades seven through eight. Established in 1984, the school conducts classes in math, social studies, physical education, Spanish and music. Joel P. Jensen Middle School also offers educational programs for students with special needs. The school maintains a library that stocks a collection of over 10,000 books. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher-student association. Joel P. Jensen Middle School conducts dance and music concerts. The school supports the Young Astronauts program, as well as organizes science and history fairs. It is governed by the Jordan School District.
