I have lived in my residence for seven years. In the last few years, my water bill has more than doubled in cost every month, while the quality of the water has gone down. Every single person I have talked to who has Greater Ouachita Water has the same problems as we do. The water often smells like sulfur (rotten egg smell) and sometimes comes out the tap brown. About the time the quality really started to go bad, I had recently bought a refrigerator with a water filter and ice maker. The filter was supposed to be able to last three months. It didn't last two weeks. My ice maker no longer works. The gunk from our tap water clogged it to a state it cannot be repaired. Our neighbors have the same problem. Each of us has to buy five gallon jugs of water and a water dispenser to be able to have drinking water. My biggest complaint isn't really the poor quality, though. My biggest complaint is that we pay WAY more than other companies for the substandard water. My last three bills were $75, $78, and $95. Friends of ours who are on a different water system pay considerably less than that and can actually drink the water from their tap without gagging.

This place is a joke. HORRIBLE water!!! Stinks up the entire house. We wouldn't dare drink it! And why has my bill doubled in the past year???? Awful.

VERY POOR customer service!! No one answers the phone and leaving a message never warrants a return call. The bill has almost doubled but the water quality and service has gotten worse.

This water company by far us the worst, it's a shame everyday that we get up to go to work or school the water is cut off, you can't brush your teeth or take a bath in the morning cause it is always off. We have to have to make a por of water every night in fear 5hat the water will be off when we get up, then the bill has tripled we went from $45 to $100 but we don't have water when we want, then need to be reported to 5he better business Bureau. ..and they don't need that 1 star rating I had to put it to submit the review

THE WATER IS EXTREMELY UNBEARABLE AND THEY ARE TOO FREAKING HIGH. MY BILL WENT FROM FORTY DOLLARS TO NINETY. THEY CHARGED ME TWO HUNDRED AND FIVE DOLLARS IN ORDER TO TRANSFER MY WATER. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!

stink water

Poor water quality. Hot water smells like sewage, cold water smells same but not as strong as hot. Have to get drinkable water at Water by the Gallon, also to cook with. Right we pay for unusable stink water.

I have lived in a lot of places and this is by far the worst service that I have ever had. Dealing with the office isnt bad but DO NOT try and call their customer service line. I called them earlier today and three hours later.... I am still on hold waiting to speak to someone. This is my third day in a row calling and I have given up each day at the three hour mark. This is absolutely inexcusable.
