I have been eating here since they opened many years ago. The food has always been good, the service is fast, and the prices are reasonable. I was a customer of the sister restaurant, Ru Yee, and still frequent both places. Theres a Dunkin Donuts across the street that would have let you use the bathroom. You can rate the food, service, and manager, just by trying to use the bathroom. I wish I could do that because it would have prevented a lot of bad dining experiences, which I have never had at Shing Yee. You must have one of those psychic gifts or something to be able to rate a restaurant just by taking 2 steps in the front door. You probably write for a newspaper that nobody reads.

I stopped in their tonight in order to use the rest room. The owner not only refused but was shouting his refusal loudly. I wouldn't even bother to try the food after that experience. I can see why that dump was empty when I stopped in.
