The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division (Jail) is responsible for the safety of inmates, correction personnel and residents. The division provides personal care and stationery products, postages, candies and snacks for inmates through Canteen Correctional Services. It offers general equivalency diploma and life skills education courses. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division (Jail) also provides anger management and substance abuse programs for inmates. Its additional programs include Coping with Confinement, A Time to Heal, Living Consciously and Freedom for Women. The division is a part of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, which is a law enforcement agency that is governed by Ottawa County in Michigan.
