Established in 1986, the Northfield Imaging Center is a multimodality imaging facility. It offers magnetic resonance imaging, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, bone densitometry and mammography services. The center has a radiology group, Sterling Radiolical Association, which specializes in neuroradiology, magnetic resonance angiography, musculoskeletal radiology and sonography. The Northfield Imaging Center is located in West Orange, N.J., and is accredited by the American College of Radiology. The center is a part of Medical Resources, which owns and manages various outpatient medical diagnostic imaging centers in the United States. Founded in 1979, Medical Resources maintains more than 50 imaging centers in over five U.S. states. Its centers provide a range of imaging services, including fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, stereotactic needle biopsy and positron emission tomography.
