Prior to joining Saint Barnabas in 1998, Dr. Taylor was the director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology of the National Capital Consortium located at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. His leadership of this premier program included a residency and fellowship training program and also included clinical and basic science research contributing to several national cooperative research protocols and publications. He was an associate professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD and an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and a post-doctoral fellowship at the Division of Molecular Mechanisms of the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Taylor has several publications in peer reviewed journals and has been honored with many teaching awards. Dr. Taylor was a decorated naval officer serving overseas tours in Iceland and Cuba. He left the Navy with the rank of commander. Dr. Taylor is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. He has been named as a “Top Doctor” in New Jersey and New York as well as being listed as one of “America's Top Physicians”.
