Eugene completed his Master of Science (MS) degree in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University. During his graduate education, his core clinical concentration was in Hand Therapy where he obtained extensive experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions related to pathologies of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. While pursuing his degree, Eugene also completed an additional clinical affiliation beyond the profession’s requirements in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center where he had many opportunities to evaluate and treat high complexity patients with neurological and neurodegenerative conditions such as stroke, Parkinson Disease, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and brachial plexopathy. Upon graduating, Eugene became a teacher assistant for a splint fabrication lab at Long Island University and continued on to receive direct mentorship and training from highly skilled veterans in the field of Upper Extremity Rehabilitation in both New York and New Jersey before being hired at Professional Physical and Occupational Therapy as a hand therapist. In his free time, Eugene can be found hiking, rock climbing, spending time with friends and family, or watching sports and movies.
