Incompetence galore starting at the very top with the CEO, a former physical therapist worked her way up in forty years without medical training, a hack without control over this place. Overrated institution continues its reputation due to ratings given to it by resident physiatrists in training here who can see a wide spectrum of injuries. There were several instances of lapses in care, transportation, safety and medical testing during my stay for a month. The brain injury section is probably the worst as it is not run by a senior level professional who runs the spine injury section. Very tempted to file a malpractice suit. Therapists are mediocre at best for the inpatient group in brain injury, at least, in my experience. Can't speak for the spine section. They can get away with it because there is no other rehab around and these guys have deep pockets from Select Medical Group the owner operator and they can afford better architectural facilities. I would go to a lesser building for better care because the building and architecture will not be the healing factor for me.
