ANNOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to go to pricey hair salons intil I could no longer afford to do that. I started going to the Hair Cuttery on Okeechobee Blvd to save money ($13-15 for a haircut). The first time I went I was EXTREMELY upset with my hair. I went in with shoulder length hair and came out with near ear length hair. I could barely put it into a ponytail!! Mind you I did not ask for this....I asked for a trim to even out the dead ends. Not only was it that short but it was so choppy looking. It took months and months for my hair to grow back. I decided to go again because I really needed to save money. This time I asked for the most experienced person they had. The woman did a decent job, but the next time i went back she was not working there any longer. 3rd time I went I was extremely disappointed. My hair was awfully lopsided and that took forever to grow out. I went a 4th time because I figured I was only getting a long layer....How hard could that be? Huh!!!!!!! I ended up with really short straight across choppy layers. My boyfriend for once had the nerve to say to me "Man your hair looks terrible". So all in all, yes it's my fault I should have not went back after the first time but i'm the type of person that gives the benefit of the doubt(that and wanting 2 save money). I really thought if i had a new stylist each time I would finally find someone. It seems everyone there is straight out of school or very inexperienced. While I would be sitting in the seat getting my haircut, I would see some man get a really bad clipper cut and look upset when done only to have the stylist tell him it looks great instead of admitting it and fixing it. Im so glad I never went back in between to have my hair fixed because i would of ended up bald!!!! The only way I would recomend going here is if you want something simple done(like deep condition or bangs cut) other wise save your money because you will be very dissapointed. I understand they need to start somewhere and gain experience but i don't like being the guinea pig and it's not fair when you have to walk around looking like you let your 4 year old daughter take the scissors to your hair. dont they practice in school? Geesh.....................

You Pay For What You Get

Bottom line......

My daughter went in, with a picture of EXACTLY what she wanted, and 2 hours, I kid you not, she STILL, 5 weeks later, looks like her head was put through a meat grinder.
