Our roots go back to the 1800's, when we rented horses and buggies to people arriving from New York City on the Long Island Rail Road to visit the country side. The company's workers acted as carpenters, electricians and horse transporters for those who came to live in the area. The company was incorporated in 1914. It wasn't long before the company realized that the equipment it used to haul lumber, tools and other items could be used to move a family's household goods, and thus one of the first moving companies on Long Island -- and in the entire nation- was born. Excellent Job

We had a move in January 2011 and the staff from Walton P. Davis made everthing as simple as possible. From the sales staff to the moving crew, everything had gone as planned. The men were extremely knowledgeable and careful with all of are belongings. I would definately recommend them to any one in the Palm Beach County area to give them a call on their future moving and storage needs.

Stay away from this company.

Very slow movers. Took them two days to move 2 bedroom apartment. Made numerous scratches on my furniture. When I complained to the manager (Judy) about speed of work, she replied “Maybe you should have fired another company”. Outstanding management, Judy!!!

There are 2 sides to every story. The shipper misrepresented the move in general. Everything was to be packed and prepared before moving day in which that did not happen. You were packing on the day as the men were trying to move. We also had to share the elevator with another moving company in that building that day.
