I work with a mortgage company out of Tupelo, MS. I called the local sunflower store in west point, ms to ask someone for information on how to verify employment of a client that I was processing an application on. The date was 4/19/13 at 5:25 p.m. The gentleman that answered the phone was very, very rude. He stated, "mam" I cannot give you any information on the employees, have a good day and hung up before I could inform him that I only wanted an address, contact information as to where to send an release of authorization form to be completed. I was not trying to verify, over the phone, that the client worked there because phone verification is not acceptable only paper documents. I truly hope this gentlemen is not passing his rudeness on the the employees nor the customers. I do sincerely hope that all sunflower food stores do not have people in management who cannot take the time to properly respond to the public.
