The West Sacramento Fire Department protects life, environment and property within the City of West Sacramento. Based in West Sacramento, Calif., the department has located five fire stations throughout the city, each of which houses one front line fire engine equipped to handle a variety of emergency calls. The fire department has three divisions, which provide a range of services for the community. It operates divisions, such as Fire Administration, Emergency Operations, Hazardous Materials and Fire Prevention, to name a few.
