Have been going to this gas station since we moved here 15 years ago. Started taking vehicles there for nys in inspections past 4 years. I was called during the day and said it needed an idler arm replaced to pass, which we approved. Last night after getting phone call telling me I was all set,paid, picked up vehicle and drove home. I then noticed there was NO inspection sticker on my vehicle. I noticed on receipt that it had a misfire, which we rectified immediately by doing complete tuneup.I called shop and they Said to call back in am. Called this morning and I asked if I could bring it back and he said it wouldn't pass. Also, while doing inspection we were having new tires replaced and noticed they put old tires in the back of our van for us to dispose of.we r now having to inspect elsewhere. We along with several family members (who r local & used to frequent purtill's) will no longer utilize this local shop.
