Established in 1877, the Child & Family Service of Pioneer Valley is a nonprofit organization that offers medical, mental health and social services. It also offers physical, sexual, alcohol and drug abuse counseling, as well as anxiety, depression and mental disability management services. Additionally, the organization conducts state-approved divorce educational seminars in various languages. It offers Families and Schools Together, a family preservation program that improves bond within and between families, schools and communities. The Child & Family Service of Pioneer Valley conducts adaptive sports, social activities and support group sessions that enhance interactive skills and working abilities of people with physical and mental disabilities. It also provides relationship, parenting and behavioral problem counseling services. The Child & Family Service of Pioneer Valley maintains one of its facilities in West Springfield, Mass.
