My mom, sister and I all purchased our dresses from here. They have been open a long time and know their stuff. They are not out to make a huge profit on their dresses so prices remain reasonable. Staff is humble. I will not be getting my dress altered here since I don't live in West. Love love love Jo Ann's!

In July of 2007, Joann at Joann's Bridals in West, Texas ordered my daughter's wedding dress. She obviously ordered the wrong length, because when she tried it on in September when it came in, it was Way too short. JoAnn's only comment was "That is the length you ordered". WE didn't have the tape measure and WE didn't do the ordering! The dress had a shawl that came with it, and the only thing JoAnn recommended was that she could add fabric to the bottom of the dress made out of the shawl. (which would have altered the line and design of the dress) My husband was paying off the balance of the dress as my daughter was trying it on, so we are out of luck! JoAnn's recommendation of adding fabric to the dress was not acceptable.My daughter has gotten another dress, (elsewhere) but JoAnn refuses to refund our money and take the dress back, even though the dress was only tried on once and is in the original bag. BUYER BEWARE!
