Dr. Lender is an ethical and insensitive dentist. He was rough and completed unnecessary treatment in my teeth. I can't believe he's still in business.

Best experience I've ever had getting fillings: Dr Lender was incredibly, and the entire dental experience has been pleasant. For the first time in my life I'm actually looking forward to going back every six months for a routine teeth cleaning to the same place.

After going to three dentists that didn't know what they were doing, and after breaking two teeth after a car accident underneath my crowns, I thought Dr. Lender and the periodonist, Dr.Urban were excellent. They furthermore picked up on a cyst as well that even the dentist that took a panoramic x-ray did not. I just recently had crown lengthening surgery with Dr. Urban and did not feel anything. He was truly professional, accommodating to your needs, and when he required Dr. Lender, the cosmetic dentist, to prep a tooth real fast, Dr. Lender came right in, and did it with ease. They both work incredibly well together-- and they look out for you, the patient, and what would be in your best interest-- not just the teeth they work on, but for that aesthetic perfection in those areas as well.

Dr. Lender and his assistant are super gentle and don't go overboard on that awful scraping, and ask you throughout if you're comfortable. I like how they set up a system of letting them know when you need to pause (raise your left hand), because lots of dentists I have been to don't do that and then you just have to kind of whimper in an embarrassing way. Hygienist also didn't ask me questions while she had her hands in my mouth, something that my last dentist used to do and drive me crazy.

I am more than satisfied with the results and I am sincerely grateful for the professional care Dr. Lender has provided for me. It is a pleasure to recommend Dr. Lender as an excellent choice for dental care.

I agree with the reviewer above - the hygienist was brutal when cleaning my teeth and doing the x-rays. I've never had x-rays HURT. She also immediately started making comments about the possibility of extraction, questioning my previous dental work, asking me why I hadn't had bone replaced and in general was very pushy and rough. When I finally saw the dentist (after waiting in an empty, dark room for 20 minutes) he declared that I needed a root canal AND a crown. When I asked what we were talking about in terms of time/cost, he told me that "the girls" would let me know. They gave me an estimate of $3500+ with no discussion of a possibly payment plan or any alternative. I won't be back.
