Umi is one of dozens of Japanese restaurants I have dined at in America, and is arguably the best! The sushi chefs are all owners, so they have an interest in taking care of their customers and make them happy. They are very friendly, highly skilled, and reasonably priced. They hand-pick the fish daily from the freshest catches available here. They do special orders gladly, and if you create a hit dish, they even have been known to name it after you!

Having eaten at numerous sushi places in Japan, I still think that the authenticity and quality of Umi Sushi Westlake equals or surpasses any other place I have patronized.
