No surprise that the last positive review was 7 years ago.
This HOA has a toxic board that runs rough-shod over themselves and residents. The president-an ex-felon BTW-does what he wants. The "gated community" is a total joke-Nearly everyone has the code, and if they don't, they wait behind someone who does. The "guard gate" makes it look like the HOA cares about security, but it's never ever ever manned. Non-residents routinely climb the fence or go around the gate and help themselves to the pool and the exercise room. This is a known liability that will bite this community in the butt in time. Very low attendance at meetings and apathetic voting because of the total lack of respect and civility shown by certain male board members. Rules aren't enforced and CC&Rs are mostly ignored. It's a good-old-boy's-club-but a very small one. Funny if you didn't have to live it.
