My paramount specialty as a Life Crisis Doctor focuses on people suffering major attachment loss -- relationship, job/career, or health. Loss of such magnitude can trigger Major Depression with its overwhelming feelings of fear, desperation, and darkness. I know this terrain from the inside, having survived two separate near death experiences. I first guide people in crisis through its dangers and pitfalls so that they survive their ordeal. Then I guide them through the transformative opportunity created by the Crisis which has cracked them open, making accessible their gifts, their medicine -- contributions to the community from their Real Self. Transformation unfolds as I assist others to discover and live from their emerging life direction. Those who go through this change process report feeling more solid and relaxed. Instead of chronic loneliness or emptiness, they now enjoy their own company. My privilege is to shepherd others on this healing journey. After more than 35 years practicing this collaborative form of art and healing, I continue to feel vitalized -- and blessed. Guiding others through the process of birthing their Soul's calling is deeply intimate and mutually rewarding. So much so that I do not aspire to retire.
