Provided by YP.comOn Sunday August 23 I go stranded on Wayne Rd. and Palmer in Westland. I called the Westland Police and they pushed me out of the street and gave me the number to Westland Car Care Towing. When I called Chrissy answered the phone and was very professional and had a great tone with speaking to me. Thank you Chrissy! She got my location and told me that she would send a driver in 30 to 45 minutes. The driver Shawn showed up within the time she told me. Great job! Shawn checked my car to see what was going on. I appreciate that he took the time to show concern for me and my family. He did an excellent job and was very professional. He greeted us with a smile and told me that he would make sure that my car was delivered to the shop.. I forgot something in my car and went to the shop and he was there and allowed me to get the items that I had forgot. So today, Monday August 24 I made a call back today to let me know that I appreciated the service. Stacey answered the phone and she was very happy to hear about the service. She had a pleasant tone and was upbeat. Thank you Stacy! I told her that I was going to do a review for the Excellent Service that I received. Thank you Westland Car Care Towing!

Provided by YP.comI called my automobile roadside assistance service for a tow, and they said a tow truck would arrive between 40 - 70 minutes. 75 minutes later, the towing company dispatcher called me to say they were on their way and would be another 30 minutes. A few minutes after that, roadside assistance called to see if my tow truck came, and I informed them of the call I just received. They told me to call them back if the tow truck didn't arrive. I called back three times, every 30 minutes, and each time roadside assistance called the towing company, who kept saying it'd be 30 minutes, 30 minutes, and then finally saying they weren't going to make it. Elapsed time that I spent in my broken car, at night, in below-freezing temperatures of 10F, was 3 hours.
I called this morning to give management at Westland Car Care the opportunity to make the situation right, and was given the runaround by the receptionist, who did not give me her name and would not connect me to a manager. She claimed that I told roadside assistance to cancel the tow truck 90 minutes after the initial call, and argued with me when I explained to her that this was not what happened at all. When I asked why I would cancel a tow truck if I was still stranded in my car, and why roadside assistance would take three more calls from me in the meantime (do we assume they were pretending to call Westland Car Care to check up on the ETA?), she went on a rant about how this was a problem I would have to address with roadside assistance, not with them.
She said they could try to tow my car this morning, but it would be a 2-3 hour wait. No apology, no remorse, and no consideration. She did say that because I was in a safe place and not injured, other calls took priority--when I asked why I wasn't told this last night, she said that she didn't work last night and couldn't answer. My repeated requests to speak to a manager were declined.
If they couldn't provide service, they should have simply said so. I would have then had the opportunity to find a reliable, reputable company who could be bothered to fulfill their commitment.

Provided by YP.comI needed a jump after my little one must have left a light on in the car. The interaction with the driver was awful. He was ridiculously rude as if I wanted to be there and it wasn't his job to be there. I contacted the company and AAA. He'll get a slap on the wrist at best but if AAA pulls business they'll get a clue.

Provided by YP.comMy road service called these clowns out to tow my SUV to my house after it broke down in a local strip mall. They told my road service they would be out within the hour. I called WCC to let them know exactly where I was in the strip mall and was told by the woman on the phone at WCC to just go inside one of stores to wait since I told her I hope they got there quick as it was cold and rainy out. I thought that was a good idea until I was walking around for over an hour!!! I went back to my car and waited another 15 minutes when I got a call back from my road service checking to see if I had been towed yet. It was a automated call and the call dropped so I called back and got the very same rep I got when I called for service. She was surprised I hadn't seen a tow truck yet so she asked me to hang on while she called Westland Car Care. Well she was gone for 10 minutes when my phone went dead so I decided it was time to just walk the 3.7 miles home. Did I mention I had forgotten my wallet so I didn't have a dime to my name for a phone call or a cab!! That wasn't anyone's fault but my own so that was on me. I could understand the delay in responding to my tow IF it was snowing or an ice storm but a light rain??? These guys are a joke and after reading the other posting on them I hope they are out of business soon!! The only reason these clowns get even one star is because I cant rate them unless I give them a star........I'll call it a dimly glowing star!

Provided by YP.comI was astonished at the poor customer service I received today after calling AAA for roadside assistance. I would under no circumstances recommend this place to anyone who had a choice to have service done elsewhere. I can't speak for all mechanics who work here, but the man who serviced my car (changed a flat), Aaron, was very short with me and extremely unfriendly. At one point he laughed in my face for asking his opinion on something about my vehicle. For someone who took a job in customer service, albeit ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, he should have known that it is never appropriate to treat any customer like a moron, paying or nonpaying, and that generally when people call AAA to send a dispatcher out they are in somewhat of an emergency situation. Emergencies breed distress, and distress does not call for being treated rudely. I'm not asking for a bouquet of flowers and a smiley face balloon, but a smile and a friendly demeanor wouldn't kill you, guy. Try to remember that when treating someone like an idiot, there's a good chance they are not, and will not be oblivious to your terrible attitude, and later leave you a crummy google review. TL;DR: Bad service. Go elsewhere

Provided by YP.comTowed my 2003 Taurus out of a ditch and bent the rear control arm. Made the car undriveable so they had to tow it home. I replace the control arm myself and am just trying to get reimbursed for the parts and alignment. I've called and left messages on 5 occasions and given various excuses and told he will call be....2 weeks into this and not a peep. This place SUCKS!

Provided by YP.comI used this repair shop after AAA gave me this location for car repair. They fixed my car with a huge bill over $1,000. They also told me that I needed $701 more in repairs. Part of it was an alternator for $362, I got it replaced today for $246 with a 12 month 12,000 warranty by another repair shop (they claimed they had this to make it sound like a good deal). The other part that was needed was 2 heater core hoses that they said needed to be done ASAP, for $339. I was going to have my new repair shop fix it while the car when in there, their price was $145 for this service, So I was really shocked when the new place called and told me I didn't need it done. They said the hoses were soft and no rips or wear were on them and were in good shape still. So today I saved $116 on the alternator and $339 for work that was NOT even needed. A total of $455. I'm sure they work they do is good, but they are overcharging and saying you need work done that you don't. SHOP around like I did you will save yourself a lot of money.

Provided by YP.comHave used them several times, they have taken care of me and my car very well. The man I have worked with has gone way above and beyond, they seem very honest and accommodating...very kind and have fixed my car. They have fixed what other garages have made worse and have not charged extra.I would recommend.

Provided by YP.comI could not get my car started yesterday. Had it jumped by AAA contact from Westland Car Care. He suggested I take it to the shop to check the strength of the battery which I did. I had to leave the car. Twenty-four hours later they said my battery was bad. They overcharged for the battery and the labor and also suggested another $500 worth of repairs. Be very careful if you take your car to this shop.
Their sign says they give a discount for AAA members, but when asked, they said not on batteries. They are not honest and way too slow. I gave them one star for the shuttle service but I paid dearly for it.

Provided by YP.comMy car needed a new belt and track tensioner. I called on a Saturday to get quotes from several repair shops. Westland Car Cares estimate was within the range of other estimates and I decided to have my car towed there (35 miles away) because my family and I have used them for oil changes in the past so I trusted their work.
During the call, I was asked for the Make/Model/Year and engine size of my car and was quoted the cost of labor and parts around $205. When I asked him if this estimate included everything for the repair he said 'yes'. Since this was on a Saturday, I asked if I should make an appointment for Monday and he said that wasn't necessary.
Monday came; my car was towed with me following (the towing company's policy). I dropped off the keys and returned home (2 hours round trip). Later, I received a call from the manager, he said that I needed a new belt and track tensioner - which I already knew - and said that the total for this repair was $320. What?! I questioned why it was over $100 more than what I was quoted on Saturday, he responded with "Are you sure you called us?". Yes, I called them, and I kept notes on every repair facility I called. In fact, my call history showed that I called on Saturday at 1:56. He went back and forth saying that he was the only one there, but maybe someone else gave me the quote, but he was the only one there...of course he didn't have a record of the quote in his computer system. Then I brought up the fact that every other repair shop estimate was $190-220, so if I would of known they were going to charge me 50% more after my car actually got there and I was at their mercy, I would of taken it to a chain store. There are plenty of them within 5 miles of my house and I wouldn't of wasted 2 hours driving and $10 in gas. In the end, he dropped the estimate to $250. But I don't think the customer should have to argue with the manager to get a similar price to what was quoted before.
The mechanics have always provided quality work, unfortunately, poor customer service will overshadow that aspect every time.
