We came to this company for our party supplies and rental, and their people were great. They helped us with everything we needed and we saved from the other store prices.If we do anything again we will be calling them.Second note! the previous review that was back in 2012 doesn't have anything to do with a party company. REALLY

Do not do business with this company. I wish I checked before giving these guys my money?! Took my high end pressure washer to be repaired and they charged me $115. Next time I used it, a bolt broke off. Took it back to them and they charged me $35 to fix it. Got it home and the unit doesn't even pump water. I aslo agree with Chris about their poor customer service. They give you this little stub of paper and tell you that if you lose it they own your machine and your money. Very shady practices but I didn't know where else to take my unit so I put up with it.... never again! Took my high end pressure washer to be repaired and they charged me $115. I rented white chairs for a large baby shower from Area Party and Costume Shop at 79th and Federal, when we picked up the chairs they brought them from a trailer in the back of the store, the chairs were too dirty to use! Unable to re-rent at such a short notice I had to scrub all the chairs and only finished minutes before guests arrived. What a nightmare! Never use this store for anything party related!!

GREAT SERVICE! I needed my lawn mower repaired. They called me to say the mower was ready, sooner than I thought it would be done, I picked up the mower, brought it home and started it. It started right up, but died right away! I called the shop, explained my problem and told them I could not load the mower to bring it back. I live 2 blocks from the shop. Russ came to my home, picked up the mower and took it back to the shop! Within two hours, he delivered the mower back to me. It works wonderfully now. They do super work and go above and beyond!!!!

My experience with this rental store was super! I need a part to fix my lawn more took them the part the guy (think his name was Vic) told me I would need to get him the modal number and serial number. They gave me their business card and told me I could call in instead of come back to the store. I gave them a call and they looked up my part and got it order for me. Came in about 6 days they gave me a call and I pick up the part that day. The part was right and they told me how to install it. I will be taking in my mower for a tune up next time it need’s one.

Can't make reservations over the phone. Must go in person to guarantee you'll get what you ordered.

We were having sewer problems and Area took time to help us get the right equipment to get it fixed.

These people are great to work with. Would highly recommend them.

The owner of this company gave poor customer service. I went to the store the day after renting a truck. I needed to explain why I was not able to park where they requested me to.###### After my explanation he just looked at me as if I had not said a word. Then I requested two items I had left in the truck. He asked "you left it here?" I repeated that I had left it in the truck. He left the counter after asking what name was the truck rented under. When he returned to the counter, he stated on his way to me that I had not filled the tank, but that he would leave it alone. I asked "If I fill the tank and the handle clicks what am I supposed to do?" He said he did not know, but the tank was not full. I informed him that I filled the tank just half a block up the street and the handle had clicked twice. He said he was not going to argue with me. I responded I was not arguing I was asking a question. He then stated he was not listening. I told him that was wrong. I then left the facility.
