My daughter has recently started vision therapy at Northpark Vision. We felt as though she was being graded during her initial exam...being told that she is well below grade average in everything. She does great in school and has scored above average in every area in school. I feel as though this vision center wants to make us worry and think that our daughter's vision is far worse than it really is. It really makes you wonder what their intentions are.Lastly, I sit in the waiting room once a week and listen to the receptionist and the young lady who adjusts/does the fittings for glasses, talk bad and gossip about fellow employees and clients. It is soooo incredibly unprofessional. I am not the only person in the waiting room who has picked up on this behavior, due to the glances and body language from clients/family that are waiting for thier appointment or therapy. If you want your fill of gossip and a side of bad attitude....I recommend sitting in their waiting room.....you will get more than your fill.

I waited until the last minute to order glasses before going on a vacation, not only were they super helpful with picking frames that were appropriate for my perscription, they also had so many choices for lenses that I really feel like my order is "custom" The doctor was kind and thorough and I was able to get my sunglasses in time for my trip! Great selection, great staff, couldn't be happier!

They charged my insurance for contacts that I did not purchase from them. I am now trying to fight with my insurance to get my allotment for contacts back. This vision center completed Insurance Fraud!!!! I will be filling a claim on them!

1. I told the desk that I didn't want full exam (which cost ~$250 more), just basic exam. When I got bill, I had been given full exam and was billed for it. I told Dr. Marcy. & she said front desk hadn't inform her. I was still required to pay for extra part.2. When optician in their office said my glasses had something in them that Dr, Marcy told me they wouldn't have, I asked dr. about it. She seemed disturbed I was asking her. After all, she'd explained it to me. I told her that the optician had said. She put her hand on my shoulder and said, in what seemed a condescending way, "I already told you about that. What the optician is telling you about is different than what I'm telling you about."3. Problem with billing. Much more than what I was told. Business manager wouldn't budge bill amount. 4. They promote vision therapy as fixing dyslexia. Nope! Search:"Evidence Does Not Support Vision Therapy to Correct Dyslexia in Children"5. Lasting confusion from all this

I have been taking my daughters to see Dr. Rose for a couple of years. One of them needed vision therapy, and both have had great experiences! My younger daughter was struggling to learn to read, now she is reading up a storm. They didn't actually teach her to read, instead they were able to stop her from losing her place, from seeing double, and seeing blurry. They also taught her to get pictures in her minds' eye while she reads. Now she loves books. Thank you Dr. Rose and the staff at North Park Vision Therapy.

I would recommend North Park Vision Center to anyone looking for execellent eye care, from infants to seniors. My family and I have been patients at the office for many years and have always had excellent care from the doctors and therapists. They always take the time to find out what each patient really needs so they can have the best vision possible, because really, we all want to see the world with crystal clear vision! If vision therapy is needed they have a great staff of therapist, my son has always loved going to therapy because it is "fun".

I was very disappointed in North Park Vision. When I called in to schedule an appointment for my two 6 year olds and my one 3 year old they told me that it was policy that they could only schedule 2 family members on one day. How ridiculous is this policy. You are here for the convenience of your patients. So now, in our busy lives, I have to schedule 3 different days to get my whole family vision tested. This is not very conducive for a family with small children. Even when I told the receptionist on the phone that I would have to find somewhere else that would see all three kids on the same day, she didn't even try to keep us as patients. Very Poor!
