Westmont High School offers a range of learning and extracurricular programs to students in grades 8 through 12. It conducts classes in English, fine arts, math, science, social studies and physical education. The school administers special education programs for children with disabilities. Westmont High School also offers business studies and industrial technology courses. It operates athletic and band booster clubs. The school provides participation opportunities in baseball, basketball, softball, golf, football, and track and field. Westmont High School maintains a media center that stocks books and periodicals. It organizes field trips to educational and cultural locations. The school is a part of Community Unit School District 201
