The East Umatilla Fire and Rescue Fire Authority is an IGA formed entity comprised of four individual fire and EMS districts: East Umatilla County Rural Fire Protection District, Helix Rural Fire Protection District, Athena Volunteer Fire Department and East Umatilla County Ambulance Area Health District. Under the fire authority IGA entity, the four districts provide resources and services to the taxpayers in East Umatilla County (Athena, Weston, Tollgate, Adams, & Helix).
