Kristen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Richmond in 2007. Following college, she continued her education at New York University, where she graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August of 2011. In 2015, she achieved the distinction of being certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Kristen has been working at RPT since graduation from NYU and specializes in treating orthopedic and sports related injuries. In order for patients to achieve success and reach their full functional potential, Kristen believes in combining manual therapy with therapeutic exercise. Throughout treatments, she understands the importance of explaining the recovery process and teaching patients how to prevent re-injury.Prior to working at RPT, her experiences included affiliations in acute / subacute care, pediatrics and orthopedics throughout the New York area. She has completed numerous continuing education courses and has also obtained her certification in kinesiotaping. Outside of work, her interests include exercising, pilates, cooking, traveling, enjoying time with family, and playing with her labradoodle.
