The Westport Police Department provides law enforcement and crime prevention services. It has a records division that processes and manages records, clearance letters and reports, and arrest and search warrants. The department conducts investigations, gathers evidence, and interviews suspects, victims and witnesses. In addition, it organizes safety-related training sessions for the general public.
