Took 2 steers there last year and got only 5 rib steaks and 5 t-bones from two animals , one was about 570 and the other over 600 hanging weight. Have had animals cut at Smiths in Darlington and Nevels in Geneva at less weight and always get 16 rib steaks and 16 T-bones cut 3/4 thick and always get more weight in meat. When asking where the steaks are stories were my animals were small, and tried to make me happy by giving me more hamburger. When you raise an animal for two years , you expect to get the prime cuts. Somebody there is steeling meat, owners take notice. If you take your animal there, better be there for the cutting and get your meat right away.

we saw an add in the bay beacon for meat bundles. Drove to Westville and thought we try it. We not only saved money but the the pork chops were the best I ever had !

We had a hog butchered here and were shorted a ham. When I called about the ham I was told several different stories ranging from it was left fresh to it was damaged and the ham was no good. My son had a hog butchered at the same time and he was told that his hog had been shot in the back and one of the hams damaged so out of one whole hog he received 6 slices of ham. When I told them that was my son's ham that was damaged, not mine then I was told they had no more hams there so more of less tough luck. I called a couple of days later and this time I was told a different story, my ham was sliced instead of being cut in half like I ordered. The stories changed with each call but the bottom line is I took a hog to have it butchered, I paid for a hog to be butchered, and I am still short one whole ham. I have no idea what else they shorted me. The missing ham was obvious but who knows what else they kept/ misplaced/ or sold to someone else. These people are very unprofessional and dishonest.
