This is the worst internet available in the area, and I would honestly recommend dial-up over this crap service. The internet is only up about half of the time (no joke) and when it is up, look forward to download speeds at around 20-30kbps. When I was shopping for internet, all AT&T offer in the area is 3mb/s and cable offered 50. So I signed up with cable and chose the 10mb/s plan, and boy did I regret it. I was told if I wanted more band with I needed to upgrade me service.... Are you kidding me, you cant even supply 1mbps and I have 10, what makes you think I would upgrade my plan with this company. I ended up cancelling and going with the DSL and I have no regrets. I did call the regional support line and was told by the CS rep that our area is bottlenecked by Chicago so we get whats left over, and that we have no free bandwith now that they over the VoiP service. And dont even get me started on the VoiP, it doesnt work, a few of my friends have it and you cant get ahold of them because their phones wont ring due to no bandwith or if you somehow manage to get through you will drop the call or you cannot understand what they are saying cause it cuts out. HORRIBLE!!!!
