So happy the park is open again. Love this state park.

Camped here for 10 days.On the office checkin,something valuable to us was stolen by staff.We asked them to return the item,but were told it wasn't found.The park ranger harrassed us daily.He found bogus things to complain about. His ego found it amusing to flash his gun around.His constant presence and drivebyes made everyone very uncomfortable.The advertised free laundry was broken, so we took ours to a local laundomat.2 Showers were nice and new.Only one bathhouse for 200 campsites. The entire campground has a foul smell in the air from the waterclearing plant on the premises.The strong odor made it impossible to sit outside.Staff constantly drove around in golf carts,but never seem to do anything.The gates were only locked at night time with an easy to break and rusted Masterlock.All other nights,the staff left the electric barriers open and anyone could simply drive in. This is our 3rd time here and our last.We can not recommend it as a safe place to stay.We will never come back.
