I go here EVERY weekend! No one anywhere near hartford/wethersfield/rocky hill has the quality of produce these folks do! The owner is an absolute expert in produce and he hand picks only the very best. You owe it to yourself to try their homemade falafel - once you do you will be a permanent addict! They keep the selections tailored to what is in season and local, unlike the local grocery stores that stock everything but import it from so far away that by the time you get it, it tastes like cardboard. I swear, I never tasted a real tomato until I started shopping here. You absolutely must visit this well kept connecticut secret. By the way, the quality exceeds whole foods and elsewhere, but the prices are cheaper than aldi's or anywhere else -- don't be fooled by the low price. Also, they don't buy those shiny machine waxed fruits that have no taste and are coated with furniture polish, this is the real deal - fruit and vegetables as god made them, with all the taste and at a very, very reasonable cost. I never miss one weekend at this store.

I found a large bag of Yukon Golf potatoes for only $1.00, the bag is not labeled Yukon Gold, it is just clear, but the potatoes tasted just fine. I will definitely be going back to see if there are any other bargains like that one.
