P&J is fabulous!!! My child has been enrolled there since 2008 and we couldn't be happier! From the 'baby room' to Toddlers to Pre-School, the teachers are amazing. They are nurturing,caring, intelligent, and 100% child-centered. The facility is spotless and the Directors spare no expense to keep the materials fresh and up-to-date. The curriculum is current and the teachers make (and follow!) actual lesson plans every week. My child attaches very easily to the teachers and is so obviously loved by ALL of the Staff. We would never think of going anywhere else! Three cheers for Pride & Joy!!!

My preemie daughter starting going Pride & Joy Learning Academy in May of 2008 and I was so worried about leaving her alone with people she didn't know very well. I soon came to realize that all of my questions, tour of the facility, meeting and observing teachers really paid off. My daughter has not only been cared for over the last 16 months, she's been LOVED. She's learned so many things from her teachers at PJLA. Everyone is very open to new ideas, discussion about the progress my daughter is making developmentally and she doesn't just play all day, she LEARNS. She came home and showed us where her knees one day! We receive pictures via email from PLJA (sometimes same day) of the activities they are doing in class. My daughter is learning about shapes, bubbles, stuff that is sticky, she plays outside and is simply receiving wonderful learning experiences which are building a solid foundation for Kindergarten. In short, I wouldn't trust my daughter with anyone else except Pride & Joy's loving family of knowledgable teachers and administration. I know first hand that she is getting the BEST of the BEST!!!
