I recently had dinner at the Red Lobster in Wethersfield with a friend. I ordered the shrimp linguini. I am sorry I did. The shrimp looked like they came from a can and the dinner itself was basically plopped on my plate as if it was poured from a bag. The soup and salad came at the same time. The soup was tepid. Salad not too bad. Then about 3 minutes later our meals came. It was not an enjoyable eating experience. We felt as if we were rushed even though the restaurant was not crowded.

We waited 4 months to travel to CT to go to Red Lobster in Wethersfield. We were extremely dissapointed in the selections as well as the quality and preparation of the food. The vegetable was undercooked, the coconut shrimp too sweet, the salad was from a bag with very little salad dressing. The cocktail ( supposedly only house gin) was small and cost $9.95. The waiter asked twice if everything was okay, only it was in passing and didn't allow time for an answer. Definitely do not recommend!!!

This is one of the last Red Lobster restaurants in this area. Good quality, affordable prices and their tv commercials make the food look great.

The staff is friendly and the prices are excellent. The all you-can-eat lunch special is a good value.
