My dryer stopped working and after calling many places found it was probably the heating element that was bad. I called about 10 different places and got a quote of $220 to $250 to replace it. When I called Todd at appliance expert, he agreed it sounded like the heating element. However, he said I had 2 options. I could replace the element for $250 or he was willing to do a "restring" to fix the element for $140. It was an option no other place gave me. He said it was more difficult but he would do it if I wanted him to. He came over that very evening and fixed my dryer for about $100 less than anyone else quoted. After he was finished, he even shortened our dryer hose and reattached it to the wall for a better fit with no additional charge. I really was glad we went with him!
